DIVING IN KAS

SUNDIVING was founded as the first PADI dive centre in 1996. Since then it has become a PADI 5-star Gold Palm IDC centre offering courses and dive trips from beginner level up to instructor training.

PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) is the world's largest dive training organisation offering courses at the highest standards.

A 5-star Gold Palm IDC Resort is the highest rating within this organisation, which is training up to professional level. This means that diving with SUNDIVING gives you the highest standards in diving for more joy and assured safety.

Their operation utilises two custom-made dive boats, carrying up to 40 divers to 31 dive sites. The two boats give them the flexibility to separate beginners from experienced divers for a more tailored service. The dives are organised in small groups, so that while the experienced divers can plan their own dives after a detailed briefing, the beginners get professional guidance for optimum safety and fun.

KAS is among the best 50 diving resorts in the world.  A marriage of beauty and the deep blue Mediterranean Sea, Kas is the centre of the historic Lycian region, with the Taurus Mountains embracing the sea as they continue to the great depths below.  All around, the area is rocky, maintaining the crystal blue clear waters of the bay.

There is plentiful marine life and beautiful underwater landscapes.  There are amphoras and ancient relics to discover, some at 2000 years old!  There are so many opportunities, wreck-dives, cave-dives, underwater canyons and stone reefs.  You can night-dive if you wish, too and for the photographer, a paradise under water!
